Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Dartford to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisation for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
- Completing 2 delivery runs
- Loading own vehicle (hand-balling)
- Multi-drop Deliveries
- Working in a 1 person or 2 person crew
- Delivering to Customer Homes
- Heavy lifting (flat pack items)
- Climbing Flights of stairs where lifts are not available
- Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork
- Deliveries are room of choice, meaning furniture can be required anywhere within the customer's property including upstairs, downstairs, back gardens etc.
As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.
About you:
- You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence.
- You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
- Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
- You must also be comfortable with manual handling and working as part of a delivery crew.
- You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
