Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Doncaster to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisation for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • Working in a 2 Person Crew with a driver
  • Delivering products to Customer Homes
  • Heavy Lifting will be required (white goods, worktops, units etc)
  • Around 10-20 drops per day
  • This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift.
  • It is a customer facing role, so you will need to have a positive attitude and be friendly and helpful, and you must be smart and well presented at all times.
  • You will have to complete a DBS check when you start.

Working Hours:

06:30 starts - working Tuesday to Saturday.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

About you:

  • You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially.
  • You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
  • Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
  • You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
  • We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
