Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Home Delivery Drivers in Glasgow to work with our client, who is one of the leading UK Logistics companies, working on behalf of a well-known DIY and home & garden retailer.

Shifts: Regular, ongoing shifts working Tuesday to Saturday

Home Delivery Driver - The role & responsibilities:

  • Driving a Van
  • Working in a 2 Person Crew
  • Delivering products to Customer Homes
  • Carrying items into the required rooms (heavy lifting required)
  • Ensuring PoD paperwork is completed properly
  • Vehicle checks and industry standard paperwork completion

This is a Customer facing role, so we are looking for people with a friendly, helpful demeanor who are well presented and have a good grasp of the English language.

About you:

  • You will have your Van Driver Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience in commercial driving.
  • You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
  • Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
  • You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
