The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

  • Trunking between depots and distribution centres
  • Store deliveries or RDC work (depending on the contract)
  • General Haulage work
  • Container work
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
  • Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
  • At least 6 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service

Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted. Applicants must be UK residents and able to travel independently to and from the site. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
