Experience: Class 2 drivers must:

- Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations:
- Safe opening and closing of curtains
- Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap)
- Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability
- Working safely at height where necessary
- Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung)
- Operating an electric pallet truck

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
- Palletised goods
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Between 8 and 15 drops a day
- Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork
As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.
About you:
- You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and hold a minimum of 2 years driving experience on your licence.
- Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations:
- Safe opening and closing of curtains
- Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap)
- Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability
- Working safely at height where necessary
- Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung)
- Operating an electric pallet truck
You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.
You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
