We are seeking a talented and experienced vehicle technician to join an independent prestige dealership near Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The dealership is renowned amongst owners' clubs for their quality of service and has a highly loyal customer base who expect the very best care for their vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the most sought after vehicles outside of a main dealer setting and gain specialist experience in a highly prestigious workplace.

The details:

  • Basic salary up to £47,840 dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30
  • 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 08:00 - 13:00
  • No bank holidays
  • Occasional overtime

What we are looking for:

  • Level 3 qualified technician
  • MOT testing licence preferred but not essential
  • Experience of working with prestige performance vehicles
  • Experience working with VAG brands would be highly preferred
  • Attention to detail with a quality over quantity approach
  • An enthusiastic individual willing to work in a team environment

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Servicing, repairs, wheel alignment, tyre fitting and wheel balancing
  • Completion of diagnostics and coding
  • Performance enhancements and remapping
  • Occasional engine and gearbox rebuilds
  • To work in line with expected deadlines and to advise the service team of any delays
  • Communicate effectively with the wider workshop team to ensure work is completed to the highest standard possible
