Pay Rate: £15.99 per hour
Shifts: Friday, Saturday and Sunday night
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced Transport Team Managers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients Home Delivery Network and as an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role.
To be considered for this role, you will be have experience in a Transport Office, and have a strong focus on customer service.
What You\’ll Do:
- Liaise with clients & customers alike
- Work with and help manage the Drivers
- Manage and develop accident reduction innitiatives
- Manage role related KPI\’s
- Work closely with the Warehouse and Planning teams
- Work on an ever changing Transport plan to ensure the smooth running of daily deliveries
- Assist with ensuring 100% compliance
What You Need:
- Previous experience working within Transport, Warehousing and Logistics is essential
- You will have demonstrable shift manager/team leader experience
- You will need to have PC skills and be able to use Microsoft Office as well as industry related software
You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
If you are a strong leader, and you are able to implement and manage change, as well as planning and using resources in a cost effective manner, this role would suit.
