Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers to undertake the driving opportunity of a lifetime working with our client on the Formula 1 contract. There are a number of trips to be made, and we need Class 1 Drivers with a minimum of 12 months driving experience for all of them.
Ideally, you will have previous experience driving in & around Europe, and be willing to get involved with building motorhomes, rigging and de-rigging etc. You will need to be physically fit for this role.
You will be transporting F1 kit (which include anything from tools and equipment to tyres for the F1 cars and in some cases even the cars themselves), motorhomes (that will need building and installing) etc
You will be travelling circuit to circuit, in a single and/or double person crew. This is a demanding role, and will involve long hours.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for HGV Class 1 drivers with at least 12 months commercial driving experience!

- Do you have your Class 1 Driving Licence?
- Do you have at least 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle?
- Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card, and an up-to-date DCPC Card?
- Do you have a valid Passport?
It would also be great if you have experience driving across Europe, but this isnt strictly neccesary.
We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
All food and drink will be supplied on your trip and you will travel in a sleeper coach when you are not driving so you will be comfortable throughout. You will be required to make your own way to the meeting point in Rugby for the initial pick up, but there is a secure car park on site for you to leave your vehicle whilst you head off on your F1 adventure.
