The Role
As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
- Trunking between depots and distribution centres
- Store deliveries or RDC work (depending on the contract)
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
- Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
