Location: Bradford

Pay Rates: £16.00 to £18.19 p/h

Shifts: Full-time hours - Monday to Friday working with 0730 starts

Experience: Class 1 drivers must:

  • Hold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence
  • Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations:
    • Safe opening and closing of curtains
    • Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap)
    • Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability
    • Working safely at height where necessary
    • Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung)
    • Operating an electric pallet truck

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle
  • Palletised goods
  • Multi-drop deliveries and collections
  • Between 8 and 15 drops a day
  • Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

  • You must have your Class 1 Driving Licence and hold a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience on your licence.
  • Must have Multidrop experience and in its operations:
    • Safe opening and closing of curtains
    • Correctly securing loads using straps and other restraints (mainly ratchet and strap)
    • Awareness of load distribution and vehicle stability
    • Working safely at height where necessary
    • Using a T/Lift (Column or Underslung)
    • Operating an electric pallet truck

You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
