The Agency, founded in 2003, creates promos, trailers, spots, key art, and digital & social media campaigns for producers, sales agents, and distribution in the film, series, and gaming markets. Our purpose has always been to use our passion to ignite stories and emotions that inspire audiences around the world.

We are looking for an experienced Creative Producer to lead the production of creative advertising materials for the entertainment industry. You will produce marketing materials that are talked about, shared, and ultimately add value for our clients.

The Role

  • Be the life force that brings energy, knowledge, and passion to every project.
  • Coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary teams on all types of projects including B2C trailers and B2B promos through to high volume social campaigns including multi-territory audio and visual localisation.
  • Be the point person for all client communications throughout the life of every project.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects from estimate to regular monitoring to invoicing.
  • Ensure projects are tracked, issues mitigated, and clients and internal teams are updated.
  • Have a strong understanding of every discipline to accurately estimate time needed for scheduling.
  • Fully scope creative briefs and understand how to elevate every aspect.
  • Follow internal workflows and best practices throughout the life of every project.
  • Use your knowledge of creative and technical workflows, specifications and formats as well as cue licensing, broadcast trafficking & digital delivery, and censorship.
  • Accurately brief and manage editors, writers, music supervisors, designers, and finishers to produce outstanding creative within budget and to deadline.
  • Use your discerning taste to elevate through your understanding of story, emotion, structure, music & sound design, motion graphics, and copywriting.
  • Champion the ABC - art for advertising, beauty for business, and creativity for commerce.
  • Be highly literate in all areas of the creative disciplines to incisively brief and provide feedback.
  • Have a strong knowledge of creative software including Avid, Adobe Suite, Disco, Sound Miner, and ProTools.
  • Maintain a good network of industry-best freelance suppliers.
  • Produce creative pitch decks with a focus on strong copywriting and visual examples.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and establish relationships with new clients.
  • Nurture relationships with clients to achieve regular collaborations.
  • Keep up to date with trade news and have a keen awareness of significant industry dates.
  • Inspire and mentor junior members of the production team in all areas of commercial production.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of creative producing experience in an agency, production company, studio, or broadcaster.
  • Examples of short-form advertising work produced across all forms and platforms.
  • Highly organised, supremely creative, and commercially savvy.
  • First class communication skills with both clients and internal teams at all levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks to meet varying demands and deadlines.
  • Enjoy the hustle, challenges, and pace of agency life.
