Each of our CFOs interacts primarily with the Founders and CEOs of our clients, as well as other CFOs on our team.You will step in as a key leader to multiple clients, spearheading financial operations to oversee and direct the finance team’s efforts including:
- Lead the finance organization of the client
- Ensure financial statements and underlying data are completed timely, accurately and relevant.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to assist the Founder/CEO in raising capital
- Liaise with professional investors
- Coordinate across our CFO team to share best practices
- Series A through Series E B2B SaaS companies seeking AI-enhanced finance operations
- Founder/CEO partners who value strategic finance leadership and competitive positioning
- Investor relationships with top-tier VCs requiring sophisticated reporting and AI-informed strategy
- Fast-growing businesses needing scalable, AI-enhanced finance operations for competitive advantage

This Role Entails:
Leading AI-Coordinated Finance Operations:
- Oversee financial reporting enhanced by AI automation and analysis
- Complete variance analysis in 30 minutes instead of 2 days through AI workflow orchestration
- Coordinate month-end close processes with maintained audit trails and CFO-level oversight
- Implement AI-powered early warning systems for proactive financial management
Driving Strategic AI Adoption:
- Evaluate AI investment opportunities for clients using CFO-level financial analysis rigor
- Guide clients through systematic AI transformation (Phase 1→2→3 progression)
- Develop business cases for AI implementation with measurable ROI projections
- Position clients competitively through strategic technology adoption ahead of competitors
Delivering Enhanced Client Value:
- Provide real-time financial insights through AI-enhanced dashboards and predictive analytics
- Develop comprehensive financial models with AI-assisted data processing and scenario planning
- Support fundraising efforts with AI-enhanced due diligence preparation and investor reporting
- Offer \"CFO-informed AI strategy\" guidance that pure AI consultants cannot match
Collaborating Within AI-Enabled Team:
- Work alongside other AI-proficient CFOs sharing best practices and breakthrough innovations
- Contribute to our proprietary AI methodology development and competitive differentiation
- Access cross-client pattern recognition for strategic recommendations and optimization opportunities
- Help define the future of finance operations through cutting-edge research and development

Required Experience & Skills for This Role:
Finance Foundation:
- 5+ years CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance management experience
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities with measurable results
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies
- Experience with SaaS metrics, deferred revenue, and related revenue recognition complexities
- Track record in fundraising, debt negotiation, and financing strategy with successful outcomes
- Current AI tool usage (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for productivity enhancement in finance operations
- Comfort with ERP systems, financial platforms, and integration concepts
- Willingness to learn AI workflow coordination and system integration methodologies
- Experience with data analysis tools and automated reporting systems
