This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll take ownership of sourcing and production, working closely with the Head of Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered on time, to spec and at the right cost.

What will you be doing?

  • Negotiating pricing, MOQs, contracts, payment terms and lead times
  • Owning product costing end-to-end, including components, packaging and freight
  • Identifying cost-saving initiatives and opportunities to improve margins
  • Managing the production pipeline from purchase order through to delivery
  • Tracking supplier capacity and lead times, proactively mitigating delays
  • Coordinating sampling, tooling and pre-production approvals
  • Setting and maintaining quality control standards and managing third-party inspections
  • Supporting new product development from concept through to first production run
  • Building processes and playbooks to support supply chain scalability and continuous improvement

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience sourcing and producing physical consumer goods internationally
  • Experience working for a brand under £30m
  • Hands-on experience working with global manufacturers, particularly across China
  • Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation of cost, contracts and supplier terms
  • Track record of driving cost savings and margin improvement
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and factory performance
  • Strong quality control mindset with attention to detail on product standards
  • Experience supporting new product launches from concept to production
  • A proactive self-starter who can take ownership of sourcing and production end-to-end

In return for everything you can bring, the business can offer:

  • Competitive basic salary (£50k - £60k, depending upon experience)
  • Hybrid working 1 day from home
  • Regular social events, from team lunches
  • Access to local discounts
  • Pension scheme to support your future plans
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays
  • Chance to join a recognisable brand that is scaling rapidly
