Here at Ignite, we’re excited to be partnering with a hugely exciting food challenger brand that’s bringing fresh, modern thinking to a well‑established category with an innovative range of standout products. They’re now looking to hire a Marketing Manager to define and deliver the overall marketing strategy. This is a highly hands‑on role – while you’ll have the support of external agencies and a healthy marketing budget (around £500k for the year), you won’t initially have a team reporting into you.
What skills do you need to be considered?
- 4+ years’ marketing experience within an FMCG environment, ideally with a challenger food or drink brand.
- Strong experience across Brand, Trade and Shopper Marketing is essential.
- Experience across social media, community management and content creation would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Proven experience managing marketing agencies and freelancers.
- Experience working with a brand that sells into Grocery Retail is essential.
- Comfortable operating as a hands‑on, 1‑person marketing team initially, without direct reports.
