Ignite is excited to be partnering with a high‑growth, internationally expanding FMCG food brand in the search for a Technical Lead. This role will be supporting retail, wholesale, and international markets across Europe and beyond.
They are looking for a technically strong food professional to support the safety, quality, legality, and authenticity of products while ensuring best-in-class standards across international supply chains. Sitting at the centre of the organisation, you will work closely with Technical, Supply Chain, International, and Commercial teams, as well as external suppliers and distributors, to ensure that products meet regulatory, quality, and operational requirements across multiple markets.
You will support international expansion by managing distributor requirements, ensuring compliance with local legislation, approving artworks and pack copy, onboarding logistics partners and warehouses, and maintaining robust supplier management systems. You will also play a key role in upholding food safety culture and maintaining quality management systems to the highest certification standards.

What skills do you need?
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical and/or quality in food within FMCG
- Background working with both manufacturing and retail
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance in the EU
- Experience working with international suppliers, distributors, or export markets
- Degree in Food Science or a related scientific discipline
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and within small teams
