Here at Ignite, we are excited to be partnering with a hugely exciting food challenger brand that is bringing fresh, modern thinking to a well-established category with an innovative range of standout products. They are now looking to hire a Marketing Manager to define and deliver the overall marketing strategy. This is a highly hands-on role – while you will have the support of external agencies and a healthy marketing budget (around £500k for the year), you won’t initially have a team reporting into you.

What skills do you need to be considered?

  • 4+ years' marketing experience within an FMCG environment, ideally with a challenger food or drink brand.
  • Strong experience across Brand, Trade and Shopper Marketing is essential.
  • Experience across social media, community management and content creation would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing marketing agencies and freelancers.
  • Experience working with a brand that sells into Grocery Retail is essential. Unfortunately, candidates without this exposure won’t be suitable.
  • Comfortable operating as a hands-on, 1-person marketing team initially, without direct reports.

In return for everything you can bring, the business can offer you a hybrid/remote working policy (1/2 days a week in Central London).

What happens next?

  • Now: Apply today with your CV which will be reviewed by our Ignite team.
  • First Stage: Teams call with the hiring manager.
  • Second Stage: Face to face interview in the office.

People are at the heart of everything we do. We embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process that means people can be their best authentic self.

We would love to reply to all applications; regrettably, we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive, so if you do not hear back within 14 days unfortunately on this role it won’t be progressing. It is possible that the position could be in the process of closing, so chalk it up to bad timing. But, have no fear! There will be more opportunities. Follow us at Ignite so you don’t miss them.
