Notting Hill/Hybrid (3 days in the office). Ignite are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing challenger food brand to hire a Finance Manager. Following significant momentum across the UK and recent international expansion, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking for someone to build and scale the finance function alongside the leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants far more than a traditional finance role. Working directly with the Co-Founder & CFO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while helping to build the systems, processes and infrastructure needed to support a rapidly scaling business. With a clear pathway towards Head of Finance, this role offers broad exposure across commercial finance, forecasting, fundraising, board reporting, international expansion and AI-driven process improvement.

What will you be doing?

  • Owning the end-to-end finance function, including month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Managing cash flow forecasting, working capital and day-to-day financial operations
  • Building commercial reporting across products, customers and sales channels
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to support pricing, profitability and strategic decision-making
  • Managing VAT, payroll, tax compliance and external advisors
  • Supporting the setup and management of international finance operations and multi-entity reporting
  • Implementing scalable finance systems, automation and AI-driven workflows
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, fundraising and board reporting as the business grows
  • Helping to establish processes and controls that support long-term scale and sustainable growth

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience running month-end close and managing key finance processes independently
  • Previous exposure to consumer goods, FMCG or retail-led businesses
  • Experience working with both British Pound and US Dollar
  • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience using AI tools and automation to improve finance processes
  • Confident working with modern finance systems and technology
  • Naturally proactive, hands-on and comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
  • Excited by the opportunity to build, improve and scale a finance function from the ground up

In return for everything you can bring, the business can offer:

  • Competitive basic salary (£70,000 - £80,000 possibility to flex)
  • EMI share options
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off
  • Direct mentoring from an experienced CFO
  • Clear progression path to Head of Finance
  • Opportunity to help build a finance function from scratch
  • Exposure to fundraising, strategic projects and international expansion
  • Budget for AI tools, software and professional development
  • A high-impact role within one of the most exciting challenger brands in the market today
