Ignite are delighted to be working with a disruptive personal care brand to recruit a Head of Retail.
Setting and activating both channel and customer strategy the Head of Retail will build deep relationships with buying teams, agree joint business plans, and drive rate of sale across all distribution points. You will play a critical role in building both team and channel presence, there is a huge runway for personal and professional growth here.
What skills do you need to have to be considered?
- Candidates MUST have proven experience as a NAM/SNAM - ideally personal care, health & beauty or wellness.
- Experience managing UK Retail accounts - ideally Boots and/or Holland & Barrett (or comparable UK health & beauty retailers) – you know how to engage these buying teams.
- Experience in Wholesale and/or Grocery is a bonus!
- A track record of growing existing accounts: JBPs landed, range reviews won, rate of sale moved.
- Commercially sharp: comfortable owning a P&L, trade spend and promotional ROI.
- Fluent with EPOS and category data – you turn numbers into a story a buyer wants to act on.
- Comfortable being the first retail hire in a scaling business: self-sufficient, organised, and happy to set and activate a commercial plan.
