How to prepare for a job interview at Ignite

Know Your Brand Inside Out

Before the interview, make sure you dive deep into the challenger brand's products and marketing strategies. Understand their unique selling points and how they differentiate themselves in the FMCG market. This will not only show your genuine interest but also help you discuss how you can contribute to their marketing strategy.

Showcase Your Hands-On Experience

Since this role is very hands-on, be prepared to share specific examples from your past where you've successfully managed marketing campaigns independently. Highlight your ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and how you've thrived without a large team, as this will resonate well with what they're looking for.

Prepare for Agency Collaboration Questions

Expect questions about your experience working with marketing agencies and freelancers. Be ready to discuss how you've effectively collaborated with them in the past, what challenges you faced, and how you overcame them. This will demonstrate your capability to manage external partnerships effectively.

Understand Grocery Retail Dynamics

Since the brand trades in grocery retail, brush up on the latest trends and challenges in this sector. Be prepared to discuss how you would approach marketing strategies tailored specifically for grocery channels. This knowledge will set you apart and show that you're ready to hit the ground running.
