Introduction:

Our client is seeking a skilled, proactive and dynamic IT Trainer with extensive expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including but not limited to Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

Working for a leading membership organisation in the UK with over 30,000 members, the ideal candidate will design, develop and deliver engaging IT training programs to an internal team of over 100 staff.

This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, communication skills, and a passion for teaching a range of staff, including C-suite level.

Key Information:

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

  • Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year (FTE £50-64k)
  • Job Type: Permanent, Part-time role (3 days per week)
  • Location: Minimum of 2 days per week on site in Company\’s head office in central London (SW1)

About the role:

In this role you will work with internal colleagues to equip them with essential software and IT skills, enabling them to perform their roles effectively and contribute to the organisation\’s success. This pivotal role focuses on leveraging the Microsoft technology stack, including Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 CRM, to design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs.

You will help to empower your colleagues, through both face to face and remote sessions (including one-on-one and group training), in effectively utilising a wide range of Microsoft technologies.

You will play a crucial role in evaluating software solutions, optimising their use, and ensuring that internal teams benefit from all available functionality to drive organisational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Training Needs Analysis

  • Continuously assess current business processes and software/systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate employee training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance reviews.
  • Analyse existing software technologies to ensure they are optimised to support business processes effectively.
  • Research and recommend new software tools or technologies to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR to identify and prioritise training requirements.

2) Training Development

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Create tailored course materials, including user guides, hands-on exercises, and tutorials, to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Stay updated with Microsoft technology advancements and incorporate relevant updates into training content.

3) Training Delivery

  • Facilitate dynamic training sessions in-person, online, or in hybrid formats.
  • Showcase practical applications of Microsoft tools, such as Dynamics CRM, to drive real-world adoption.
  • Address participant queries and challenges effectively during and after training sessions.

4) Software Selection and Optimisation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement the most suitable software solutions for the organisation.
  • Ensure employees are fully aware of software features and capabilities to maximise efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend software updates or new tools that align with organisational goals.

5) Consultation and Support

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand training objectives and outcomes.
  • Provide post-training support to enhance knowledge retention and application.
  • Work closely with IT teams to align training initiatives with broader business strategies.

6) Evaluation and Reporting

  • Develop and administer assessments to measure training effectiveness.
  • Gather feedback to refine training programs and materials.
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities and participant progress, reporting results to management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

1) Technical Expertise

Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including:

  • Dynamics CRM (all versions, particularly Dynamics 365).
  • Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft 365 and Dynamics CRM.

2) Training Experience

  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer, with a track record of delivering technical training to diverse audiences.
  • Preferably holds certifications in Microsoft technologies.

3) Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for empowering others through knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in presenting and simplifying complex technical concepts for learners of all levels.
  • Proactive approach to researching and aligning new software solutions with business needs.

4) Education and Certifications

  • Relevant academic background or Microsoft Certifications, e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).

5) Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with other CRM or ERP systems.
  • Experience with programming and customisation tools for Dynamics CRM (e.g., PowerApps).
  • Knowledge of ITIL or Agile frameworks.
