We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a growing Claims Law Firm based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated BA who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, developers and project teams to deliver effective business and technology solutions within a fast-paced legal environment.
The Role
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements, helping to drive technology improvements and operational efficiency across the firm. You will work closely with business users, developers and project managers to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for the IT Development team.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation and user experience improvements.
- Create process maps, workflows, user stories and functional requirement documents.
- Work collaboratively with developers, project managers and business stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and assist in resolving requirement-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an IT Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Visio, Monday.com and Excel.
- Understanding of APIs, databases and system integrations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally experience within the Claims or Legal sector.
