My client is looking for an Employment Solicitor (5–6 years PQE) to join a growing and highly regarded Employment team in the Solihull area, advising a diverse client base of businesses and individuals across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

As the successful applicant, you’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, supported by experienced colleagues, and given the platform to develop your expertise in a collaborative, commercially focused environment.

Responsibilities

You’ll advise on a broad mix of employment law matters, including:

  • Advising employers on disciplinary and grievance matters, restructures, redundancies, performance management and TUPE matters
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and wider employment documentation
  • Supporting corporate transactions with employment law advice and due diligence
  • Delivering commercially focused, strategic legal advice
  • Supporting business development activity including networking, seminars and client training initiatives

About you

The firm are looking for a commercially minded Employment Solicitor who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building trusted client relationships. You’ll likely have:

  • 5–6 years’ PQE in Employment Law within a UK law firm
  • Strong technical experience across contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Experience managing your own caseload with confidence and minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, commercially aware approach
  • Strong drafting, organisation and analytical skills
  • A genuine team mindset and ambition to contribute to a growing practice
