Our client in Manchester has an exciting opportunity for a conveyancing assistant with 2+ years’ experience to join their Congleton office. Working alongside experienced conveyancers, you’ll support a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, managing files from initial instruction right through to completion and closure.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the team with the full range of residential conveyancing matters, from initial instruction through to file closing.
- Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, referrers, and estate agents by phone and email to progress transactions smoothly.
- Handle a range of tasks including file opening, ordering of title documents and searches and preparing required forms and documentation with the supervision of a fee earner.
- Maintain accurate, compliant, and well-organised files in line with regulatory and internal standards.
About you:
- 2+ years’ experience within a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Confident using IT systems, including document management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work accurately under pressure, managing competing deadlines with strong organisational skills.
- An understanding of property transactions and conveyancing processes is beneficial, though training can be provided.
