Job description: Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator Needed Location: Cleckheaton Pay range: £15.00 - £17.50 p/h depending on skills and experience Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our growing team on a full-time, permanent basis, we are seeking experienced individual with a strong background in fabricating mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, take pride in producing high-quality work, and be able to work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision. Salary * £15.00 - £17.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience * Plus Bonus Scheme Key Responsibilities * Fabricate sheet metal components to engineering drawings and specifications. * Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using appropriate machinery and techniques. * Operate workshop machinery including press brakes, rollers, guillotines, saws, and hand tools safely and efficiently. * Carry out TIG and MIG welding to a high standard. * Grind, weld, and polish finished products to ensure excellent quality. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. What We're Looking For Essential: * Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Competent in TIG and MIG welding. * Confident using press brakes, rollers, guillotines, saws, and other fabrication equipment. * Ability to work independently using your own initiative. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred: * Previous sheet metal fabrication experience. * Full UK driving licence.
