Senior Architect

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead/Senior Architect to join an award-winning international architectural consultancy headquartered in Dubai, helping to develop and grow its London office based in King’s Cross.

This is a key position for an ambitious, commercially aware architect who can take an active role in building the London team, strengthening the practice’s UK presence, and contributing to the delivery of a diverse portfolio of international projects.

Working closely with the Dubai leadership team, you will play an important role in developing the London studio while supporting projects across the wider practice, including high-end residential, large-scale residential developments, masterplanning and mixed-use schemes.

The Role

• Support the growth and development of the London office, helping to establish and expand the team, project portfolio, and wider business presence.
• Work closely with the Dubai leadership team to coordinate resources, share expertise and ensure effective collaboration between both offices.
• Lead and contribute to architectural projects across all stages, from concept design and planning through to technical design and delivery.
• Support the Dubai practice on a range of projects, particularly residential, masterplanning and mixed-use developments.
• Manage project teams, consultants and stakeholders, ensuring design quality, programme and technical requirements are met.
• Contribute to design reviews, project strategy, resource planning and the development of studio processes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and other industry contacts to support the continued growth of the practice.
• Travel to the Dubai office as required to support projects, collaborate with teams and maintain strong working relationships across both locations.

About You

• Qualified Architect with a recognised architectural degree and professional registration, such as ARB registration in the UK.
• Significant post-qualification experience within a reputable architectural practice.
• Strong experience delivering residential, masterplanning and/or large-scale mixed-use projects.
• Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• A strong design sensibility combined with excellent technical and project delivery capabilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working in a growing international practice.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across different offices and cultures.
• Flexible and willing to travel regularly to Dubai when required.

Employment Requirements

This position is offered on a permanent, UK PAYE employment basis. Candidates must have the existing and unrestricted right to work in the UK and be able to travel to the Dubai office as required.
