Base pay range

• Up to £52,000 – Commercial Engineers
• Up to £48,000 – Domestic Engineers
• (Salary dependent on experience)

About the Role

Ignite Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Gas Engineers to join our clients’ teams across North and South London. We are hiring both Domestic and Commercial Gas Engineers for full-time, permanent positions.

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of gas-related installations, servicing, maintenance, and repair work, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, service, fault-finding, and repair work on domestic and/or commercial gas systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues on boilers, heating systems, and associated equipment
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication
• Complete all job documentation accurately and on time
• Work independently or as part of a team depending on job requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Gas Engineer
• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (e.g., ACS certificates)
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
