Location: Chigwell (Office Based)
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Sector: Passive Fire / Social Housing / Compliance
A proactive and organised Project Co-ordinator is required to support passive fire protection projects and FRA remedial works across social housing properties. This role is ideal for someone with experience in fire stopping, fire doors, compliance, or construction coordination, and who is confident managing documentation, residents, contractors, and project workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate passive fire projects including fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation and FRA remedial works.
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, documentation and support the raising of quotes.
- Collect, manage and upload compliance evidence such as photographs, certificates and installation data.
- Liaise professionally with residents, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support quality checks, O&M pack preparation, RAMS and overall reporting requirements.
- Prepare weekly progress updates and monitor project KPIs.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in passive fire, fire stopping, fire doors, FRA remedials or construction coordination.
- Previous experience within the social housing sector.
- Ability to interpret drawings and FRA reports.
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT capability, including Excel, Word and CRM/online portals.
Desirable:
- Awareness of IFE, FIRAS, BM TRADA or IFC accreditation schemes.
- CSCS card or SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
- Experience preparing and reviewing compliance evidence packs.
