Ignite Recruitment are looking for an Operational Support Officer to support the day-to-day front-line waste and recycling services. Can you manage a busy caseload, prioritise your own workload and work effectively as part of a team? Are you confident and organised to work in a fast-paced operational environment?
As the Operational Support Officer, you will support the day-to-day operational functions required to manage the waste and recycling services. You will support the Section Manager for Waste and Recycling Operations and the supervisors to respond to day-to-day service enquiries and complaints. You will be required to run daily reports, manage and update service level data and correspond with residents.
You will need to be good at working in a team, a good communicator and able to manage and diffuse sometimes challenging problems or enquiries. Working as part of a key member of the team you will need to be well organised and have a positive “can do” attitude. This role offers lots of variety and you will be able to use your skills in communication, adaptability, attention to detail, organisation and customer service to great effect.
You will be based at our depot at Morson Road. It is essential that you have experience in a customer focused environment, excellent interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft ICT systems including Excel, Word and Outlook. It would be an advantage, but not essential if you have used M3, Bartec, Verint systems.
The role is office based 5 days a week.
