We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing and well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and a customer-focused approach who is looking for long-term career progression within a respected company. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing fire alarm systems across a range of properties. You’ll act as a key point of contact between the business and clients, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. What You’ll Be Doing * Carrying out fire alarm servicing, maintenance, repairs, and installation works * Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently * Completing reactive and planned maintenance works * Producing accurate reports and completing paperwork on time * Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and industry standards * Maintaining excellent customer service and a professional company image * Working closely with supervisors, clients, and operational teams * Following health & safety and quality management procedures at all times What We’re Looking For * Experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, installation, and repairs * Previous experience within public sector or social housing environments is desirable * FIA qualification preferred but not essential * Relevant trade qualifications * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Good understanding of fire alarm tools, equipment, and materials * Strong communication and customer service skills * IT literate with the ability to complete reports electronically * Full UK driving licence preferred What We Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided * Overtime opportunities available * Ongoing training and development programmes * Long-term career progression opportunities * Stable, full-time permanent role * Supportive and professional working environment
