Our client is now looking for a Production Manager.
About the Role
This role sits at the heart of a leading creative production business specialising in creative and technical design, artworking, digital content, printing, experiential brand activation, and sustainable production. We are seeking a collaborative, organised, and detail-oriented Estimator / Production Specialist with exceptional communication skills. You will play a key role in estimating bespoke luxury retail fabrication projects while providing technical expertise and operational support to the Fabrication Production Management team. The position requires a deep understanding of client briefs, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to propose efficient and cost-effective production methods. You will liaise closely with Project Coordination and Fabrication teams, overseeing projects from concept to delivery within a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates, outlining assumptions, alternatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with Project and Fabrication Management teams to ensure all works are aligned with client briefs and production capabilities.
- Interpret and troubleshoot client briefs to provide clear direction and innovative solutions.
- Support the production process from concept through completion, maintaining high standards of quality, budget control, and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
- Identify appropriate materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes suitable for luxury retail environments.
- Manage and update project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Provide additional support to production management when required.
Key Knowledge & Experience
- Strong understanding of fabrication and materials, particularly within luxury retail and exhibition environments.
- Experience with creative production processes, including both temporary and permanent retail installations.
- Proven commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Excellent supplier negotiation and outsourcing skills.
- Familiarity with large format graphics is advantageous.
