Job Description

Location : London\\nWage range From £37000 – £42000\\nContract: Full Time, Permanent\\nHours 40 hour week – 8am-5pm Monday to Friday\\nJob PurposeTo complete day-to-day works to a very high standard and in line with the relevant Contract. To work within safety regulations, work policies, and electrical codes and standards. To provide high levels of customer service to our clients and their residents.\\n\\nMain duties and responsibilities\\n\\nAs an electrical engineer you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client.

You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry. Acting as an ambassador to position the company’s reputation as a leading and respected employer. The main duties of an Electrical Engineer include:\\n\\n * Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing\\n\\n * Diagnosing and rectifying faults\\n\\n * Carry out electrical remedial works\\n\\n * Undertake new electrical inspections\\n\\n * To action reactive electrical works\\n\\n * To complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs\\n\\n * Carrying out company works as required and to desired standards\\n\\n * Carry out work to a high standard in schools, void, occupied and communal areas\\n\\n * Providing the highest level of customer care and always promoting a good external perception of the company\\n\\n * Complying with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service\\n\\n * Producing reporting on time and to agreed standards\\n\\n * Adhering to the company’s quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly\\n\\nSalary and benefits\\n\\n * Competitive salary relative to experience (PAYE)\\n\\n * 23 days holiday per year, and you can secure 1 extra day holiday per full year of service up to a cap of 25 days.

From this allowance we will provide you the option to sell 3 days back to the company per year, or you can take 3 days into the next holiday year. Plus, statutory bank holidays (currently 8)\\n\\n * Over and above the increased allowance, should either or both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on a weekday, you will not be required to work past midday, but will be paid a full day.\\n\\n * Auto enrolment into the government pension scheme.\\n\\n * Vehicle + Fuel card upon requirement.\\n\\n * Company phone and tablet device available when required.\\n\\n * All plant tools supplied for example drills, steps, ladders, heavy duty power tools.\\n\\n * We pay time and a half rate for evening and Saturday working hours.\\n\\n * We pay double time for night-time, Sunday, and bank holiday working.\\n\\n * Weekend working available.\\n\\n * Availability to out of hours call out rota.\\n\\n * Flexible working approach upon agreement.\\n\\n * Amazing in-house training programme where training is given on and off site, inhouse and external (member of NIC EIC, ECA and FIA).
