About Ignite Partners
Ignite Partners is a sales-led market-entry consultancy that helps high-growth B2B SaaS and technology companies expand into new international markets. Our core client base sits across APAC, where we work directly with founders and executive teams to design and execute go-to-market strategies in priority expansion markets. As demand from APAC clients for UK market entry has increased, we are establishing a UK presence focused on hands-on GTM execution and sales outcomes.
The Role
As UK Partner – Market Entry & Growth, your primary responsibility is driving UK go-to-market success for Ignite’s APAC-based clients. Our clients do not come to Ignite for theory. While many market-entry firms rely on research reports and secondary data, Ignite operates directly in-market, putting our clients in front of real buyers, generating live sales conversations, and capturing firsthand customer feedback that informs sales and go-to-market decisions.
This role exists to ensure our clients:
- Get their solution in front of relevant UK buyers quickly
- Generate meaningful commercial conversations and early revenue
- Collect high-quality market feedback on ICP, messaging, and pricing
- Build confidence in their UK expansion strategy based on real data, not assumptions
Secondarily, the role supports Ignite’s own growth by developing relationships with UK or European companies considering expansion into APAC or ANZ.
Core Responsibilities
- UK GTM Execution for APAC Clients (Primary)
- Lead UK-facing go-to-market and sales activity for APAC-based B2B SaaS and technology clients, ensuring clients’ sales and activity targets are met.
- Ensure client solutions are introduced to a high volume of relevant UK buyers for meetings, demos, and feedback.
- Support outbound strategy across cold events, email, cold calling, LinkedIn, and targeted account-based outreach.
- Act as the senior commercial presence in UK-based sales conversations.
- Translate buyer feedback into clear recommendations on ICP, positioning, and GTM approach.
- Maintain urgency, activity levels, and momentum across all UK campaigns and clients.
- Success is measured by: Buyer conversations created, and the quality and consistency of market reporting; Sales opportunities generated and closed; Client confidence in UK market learnings.
- Client Advisory & Relationship Ownership
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to founders and executive teams.
- Help clients interpret UK buyer behaviour, objections, and sales dynamics.
- Guide decisions around pricing, positioning, sequencing, and hiring.
- Work closely with Ignite’s Australian-based SDR and delivery teams.
- Ensure Ignite’s sales processes, tooling, and reporting standards are followed.
- Selective UK / European Client Development (Secondary)
- Build relationships with UK and European companies exploring expansion into APAC or ANZ.
- Support commercial conversations where there is strong strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with the Australian team, who will continue to lead most APAC client acquisition.
