We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer‑focused Event Bar Staff to support our client on the outskirts of Mintlaw for a range of functions over the next few months including theme nights, corporate events and private parties. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy working with people, and can deliver exceptional service with a positive attitude.
Hours of work: Dependable on event, events are held every second weekend mostly on a Friday evening. Shift example would be 1900 - 0100 on a Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
- Prepare and pour drinks to venue standards (including basic cocktails where required)
- Operate tills, handle cash/card payments, and maintain accurate transactions
- Restock bar areas with beverages, ice, glassware, and supplies throughout the event
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe bar environment
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
- Follow licensing laws, Challenge 25 procedures, and venue policies
- Assist with bar setup before events and breakdown/clean‑up afterwards when required
- Work collaboratively with the wider event team to ensure smooth service
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage busy periods calmly
- Confident handling cash and card payments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move stock when required
- Must be 18+ due to alcohol service
- Right to work in the UK
- Own transport is essential due to location and hours required
