This role is ideally suited to a career minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to prove what they can do and then be rewarded for it. We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our successful Client Services team. This is a Home Based role with some occasional travel to the office required.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support in retaining and growing a portfolio of strategic customer accounts and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Aid on key customer engagement, contract retention, upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Work alongside Senior Account Managers (SAM) and Account Directors (AD) to assist in growing and retaining an existing client base.
  • Assist on all client workstreams, alongside the SAM and AD providing support as required.
  • Act as an Ignite contact point for clients and delivery teams.
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of internal portfolio calls, working alongside the SAM and AD in addressing issues and directing the team in priority actions.
  • Support the SAM and AD on client and internal queries.
  • Assist in the identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities for clients.
  • Work with the SAM and AD in building strategic relationships with key decision-makers with customers including senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide support in holding account management meetings and conference calls with clients.
  • Be a part of the end-to-end contract process to successfully on-board customers onto new contracts or services.
  • Liaise closely with the Supply Services team regarding ongoing service delivery, assisting with the resolution of any issues.
  • Contribute to monthly Account Management meetings.
  • Assist in the process of new meter installations with clients and contractors.
  • Support in tracking customer debt positions, ensuring any issues around late payment are resolved.
  • Read and comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health and Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Background in Account Management or Customer Services.
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors and other team members.
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and autonomously as required.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and computer literate.
  • Collaborate with a high degree of professionalism with colleagues and clients from different cultures and countries.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Passion for always delivering the highest levels of service.
  • Comfortable with analytical reporting and data interpretation.

Desirable:

  • Energy markets and supply/metering contracts knowledge.
