Experienced Cloud Security Engineer is required to join an Innovative Start-Up Challenger Bank! Are you passionate about building something new? This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to grow into the Head of Information Security, eventually building and leading a new security team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage security controls and countermeasures.
  • Perform vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and product teams.
  • Manage Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and Defender services.
  • Respond to new vulnerabilities and manage remediation.
  • Develop and manage security measures for generative AI usage.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Degree/diploma in a tech-related field or relevant experience.
  • Preferred certifications: PenTest+, Security+, OSCP, CCSP, CEH, GCIH, GMON.
  • 3+ years in IT Security, preferably in fintech, SaaS or banking / financial services.
  • Strong experience of working closely with software engineering and product teams with understanding of CI/CD pipelines for new feature and product releases.
  • Experience in DevSecOps and Cloud Security.

Technical Expertise

  • Endpoint and network security concepts.
  • Cryptography and data security.
  • Some knowledge of GDPR & PCI-DSS.
  • Strong experience of AWS and ideally certified.
  • Forensic investigation techniques.
  • Experience with security technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, IDS, IPS).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security Centre and Sentinel.
  • Understanding of ISO27001:22, NIST, and secure software development.
