A leading public sector organisation is seeking a Lead End User Computing Engineer to take ownership of its end user technology strategy and delivery. This is a senior role, ideal for someone who combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership skills across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Citrix, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the end user computing (EUC) engineering function.
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing EUC platforms.
  • Oversee adoption and optimisation of Microsoft 365, Intune, Citrix, and device lifecycle management.
  • Drive automation, innovation, and reliability across endpoint services.
  • Collaborate with architecture, digital transformation, and security teams.
  • Coach and mentor EUC engineers and promote technical best practices.
Required Experience:
  • Senior-level experience delivering EUC or Digital Workplace solutions in a large-scale organisation.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SCCM, Azure AD, Citrix, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/MECM).
  • Experience leading teams or acting as technical SME in high-stakes environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell/YAML), automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership communication skills.
