We're working with a highly collaborative, design & build studio that creates exceptional workplace spaces designed for inventiveness, collaboration and productivity. As the business continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a Senior Technical Designer who can take ownership of the technical side of projects and help drive standards across the studio. This is a key hire. The successful candidate will be confident working autonomously, leading projects through detailed technical design and delivery, and acting as the primary liaison with Building Control and external consultants. You will play a pivotal role in driving the technical standards of the practice, ensuring projects are well detailed, compliant and delivered efficiently.
The Role
- Lead technical design and project delivery
- Liaise directly with Building Control and consultants
- Produce and oversee detailed technical design drawing packages
- Drive technical quality and internal standards
- Take ownership of your own projects
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical design background (ideally from D&B background)
- Confident communicator with experience dealing with Building Control, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Revit proficiency strongly preferred
- Experience delivering projects in the £1-2m range advantageous
