We are seeking a talented Architect with minimum 4–5 years of post-Part 3 experience to join a highly regarded medium size architectural practice working on complex 5 star hotel projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect who enjoys technical delivery while maintaining a strong appreciation for design quality and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of hotel and hospitality projects across RIBA Stages 2–5, with a particular focus on Stages 4 and 5.
- Produce detailed technical design packages, construction information and contract documentation.
- Develop and coordinate architectural designs in REVIT ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal design teams, consultants, contractors and clients throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary information and resolve technical design challenges on complex projects.
- Attend project meetings, workshops and site visits as required.
- Support the successful delivery of projects through construction, responding to technical queries and reviewing contractor information.
- Maintain high standards of design quality while balancing programme, budget and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with 4–5 years' post-Part 3 experience.
- Strong UK project experience within the hotel and hospitality sector.
- Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, with exposure to Stages 2 and 3.
- Excellent REVIT skills and experience working within BIM environments.
- Previous experience producing detailed technical packages and contract documentation.
- Experience working on complex, large-scale or technically challenging projects.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good design awareness and an appreciation for high-quality architecture.
