Ignis Partners is working with one of London's most respected international architecture and design practices to find an experienced Communications & PR Coordinator. This is a rare opening within a small, high‑calibre comms team at a studio whose work shapes skylines and public realm across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The studio is a large, established practice of 100+ designers, researchers and thinkers, built around context‑driven design, long‑term value and a genuine commitment to climate and culture. The work spans landmark commercial towers, mixed‑use neighbourhoods, healthcare and research campuses, and award‑winning sustainable buildings, supported by an in‑house research and strategy function. It's a creative, internationally minded studio with a friendly atmosphere, a modern central‑London space and excellent transport links.

The role involves reporting into senior leadership and working closely with partners, project teams and creatives to help deliver the studio's global PR and communications strategy. Day to day, you'll:

  • Shape and contribute ideas to an integrated PR and communications strategy aligned to business goals and brand positioning
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers and key stakeholders
  • Draft and coordinate press releases, media statements, speeches, Q&As and other PR materials
  • Prepare spokespeople for announcements, interviews and public events
  • Develop creative PR campaigns and events to build brand awareness and thought leadership
  • Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, feeding insight and recommendations to leadership
  • Support issues management and rapid‑response communications
  • Work with in‑house creatives to keep branding and imagery consistent across all channels
  • Manage social media presence across international platforms, internal comms, the studio newsletter and awards submissions

What You'll Bring:

  • Typically 3+ years’ experience in a comparable communications or PR role
  • A track record of designing and delivering successful multi‑channel campaigns (print, broadcast, online, social)
  • Media relations experience, including high‑profile announcements and sensitive or complex issues
  • Strong storytelling instincts and exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and confident Word/PowerPoint for executive comms and strategy decks
  • Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, HubSpot, Google Analytics) and CRM/digital asset management systems
  • A degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or a related field is advantageous
  • A genuine passion for design, architecture and cities is a real plus

The person should be diplomatic but assertive, friendly but robust, able to challenge constructively and think on your feet. Self‑motivated, proactive and well‑organised.

The package includes a salary in the region of £38,000–£48,000, depending on experience, private healthcare, healthcare cash plan and pension scheme. This is a full‑time, office‑based role in London. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
