We’re working with a long-established international architecture practice with an excellent reputation for delivering large scale projects globally. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to hire an Associate Director to join their London team and lead major industrial and big-box retail projects. This is a senior role combining project leadership, client management, team development, and business growth.

The Role

  • You’ll lead large-scale industrial and retail schemes across all project stages, acting as the main client contact and overseeing delivery from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial and big-box retail projects across all RIBA stages
  • Manage projects delivered through Design & Build contracts
  • Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Oversee project programmes, budgets, fees, and resourcing
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
  • Monitor project performance and profitability
  • Mentor junior team members and support team development
  • Help drive efficient digital workflows, including Revit and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect
  • Strong industrial/logistics and retail project experience
  • Proven experience leading projects from concept to completion
  • Strong knowledge of Design & Build delivery
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
  • Strong REVIT capability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
