Architectural Technologist β Data Centres / Industrial Projects
Location: London
The Practice
Our client is a well-established and growing architectural practice delivering complex technical projects across the data centre, industrial, warehouse, and mission-critical sectors. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term clients, the practice offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas of architecture.
The Role
They are seeking an Architectural Technologist with strong Revit capability to join their technical team. You will work on technically demanding projects, supporting the design and delivery of large-scale data centres and industrial buildings from concept through to construction.
This role suits someone with existing data centre / industrial experience, or a technologist who is keen to specialise in this rapidly expanding sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and models using Revit
- Develop coordinated architectural packages across RIBA stages
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and external consultants
- Assist in the delivery of technically complex projects
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and project specifications
- Support coordination with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants
- Respond to design and technical queries during construction phases
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
- Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
- Experience delivering technical drawing packages
- Background in data centres, industrial, warehouse, or large-scale commercial projects
- or a strong desire to develop expertise in this sector
- Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
- Knowledge of BIM standards and coordination processes
- Experience working on projects through to construction stage
- CIAT membership or working towards chartership
