Architectural Technologist

London | Global Design Practice | Workplace Interiors

Overview

We're working with a highly respected international design practice known for delivering exceptional projects across architecture, interiors, urban design, and masterplanning. With a strong global presence and an excellent reputation for technical excellence and innovation, they are looking to hire an Architectural Technologist to join their London team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical experience in corporate interiors and workplace projects, who enjoys working across both base build and fit‑out schemes.

The Role

You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of technical packages across all RIBA stages, working closely with architects, designers, and wider project teams to ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed drawing packages across all project stages
  • Produce technical detailing, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Prepare NBS specifications and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Support tender and construction package delivery
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage clash detection
  • Research and specify materials, finishes, furniture systems, and bespoke joinery
  • Assist with site reviews and construction‑stage coordination
  • Ensure projects comply with building regulations and planning requirements
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across both London and international offices

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Architectural Technology or similar technical qualification
  • 5+ years' experience in professional practice
  • Strong workplace/corporate interiors experience
  • Experience across both base build and interior fit‑out projects
  • Strong Revit capability (including family creation and schedules)
  • Excellent technical detailing and specification writing skills
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and British Standards
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
