Are you an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a role where you can do more than simply manage a rota? We are supporting a specialist provider in Bristol that provides complex community based care to people with mental health and physical healthcare needs. They are looking for a responsive, organised and relationship focused Care Coordinator who can take ownership when things need sorting and help create a better experience for both clinicians and the families they support. For the right person, there is genuine scope to develop into greater responsibility and leadership as the organisation grows. The role You will: • Coordinate specialist community care packages across a small portfolio of families • Build strong relationships with clinicians, families and internal teams • Manage staffing availability, changes to care requirements and day to day coordination • Respond quickly to sickness, cancellations and operational issues • Support approximately 5 to 7 families while working as part of a wider coordination team • Help improve the experience of both the clinicians delivering care and the people receiving it What we are looking for You may already be working as a Care Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator, Bookings Coordinator or within another healthcare operations role. We are particularly interested in people who: • Have previous care coordination, healthcare staffing, scheduling or similar experience • Are highly organised and comfortable managing competing priorities • Communicate confidently with clinicians, families and colleagues • Take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution • Have a genuine interest in mental health, complex care and community based support • Hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable visiting families when required What is on offer • Salary up to £28,000 • Monday to Friday working, normally 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm • Some flexibility to work from home for administrative tasks • Exposure to experienced senior leaders who will invest in your development • Genuine opportunity to increase your responsibility as the organisation grows • A pathway towards leadership for someone who proves themselves This is not a role for somebody who simply wants to fill shifts and move onto the next task.
