Igne Group Limited is a synergetic amalgamation of six companies, renowned within our respective fields, with over 350 years of combined experience. As a one-stop shop for pre- and post-construction services, we specialise in ground investigation, testing, unexploded ordnance, specialist drilling, geothermal, and geo-environmental solutions. We are looking for an experienced professional to support our growing Ground Investigation Division based in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Hamilton and another location. The successful candidate will manage large, complex ground investigation projects and produce first-class interpretative reports. A Chartered status or current pursuit thereof is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site investigation contract supervision and management (drilling rigs and personnel) and client liaison.
- Soil and rock logging in accordance with current guidelines.
- Trial pitting works.
- In-situ testing.
- Environmental groundwater and gas monitoring and sampling.
- Timely submission of site information, such as drilling records, weekly timesheets, etc.
- Health and safety responsibilities, including the preparation of site-specific working practice documentation, site inductions, and ensuring site operative welfare and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related subject (Geotechnical Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology and Environmental Science or a related discipline).
- Previous experience in contract management of ground investigation projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and reporting abilities.
- Team-working capability.
- Full driving licence (travel required).

- 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
