Igne’s Specialist Drilling division is a leading provider of cost-effective, high-quality, and independent water supply solutions for both private and public sector clients. With over 350 years of combined experience in borehole drilling, they are recognised as one of the UK’s foremost experts in water supply services.
The successful candidate will support the Lead Driller with the operation of drilling, construction, and installation of water supply boreholes. This role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors and is able to work across the UK. Key Responsibilities:- Assisting and supporting in the drilling, construction, and installation of water supply boreholes
- Transportation of drilling rig and specialist plant equipment
- Assist with set up and operation of the drilling rig and specialist plant equipment
- Maintain and carry out routine maintenance on equipment
- Full UK driving licence (travel is a requirement)
- Able to work within a high-pressured environment
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers and stay away from home as required.
- CSCS card and hold a full driver licence (travel across the UK is required)
- Experience of working within a construction related environment.
- An awareness of general H&S regulations
