Igne are seeking to appoint a Monitoring Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and progressive geotechnical contractor based out of either of their Scottish operations. A full driving licence and a desire to work outdoors in all weathers is required.

As a Monitoring Technician you will be working out on site obtaining and testing a variety of gas and water samples in-situ. Consideration will be given to experienced field technicians and those without experience as full training will be provided. This is a full-time job with excellent rates of pay and overtime (both in the week and over the weekend), and the opportunity to work in an exciting and growing sector along with excellent career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-site monitoring of gas and water levels
  • Groundwater sampling and inclinometer reading
  • Completion of test sheets and data entry onto tablets
  • Working within in-house quality assurance systems
  • Maintain high levels of health and safety in line with company policies
About You:
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • You will need good communication skills - both written and verbal
  • You must be confident to work in a team environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to organise your own workload
