Igne are seeking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Senior Engineering Geologist to join their successful and expanding Ground Investigation Division (GI Scotland) based from Hamilton, Glasgow. You will be responsible for managing large complex ground investigation projects and have the expertise to write first class interpretative reports.
- Site investigation contract supervision / management (of drilling rigs and personnel) and liaising with clients
- In-situ testing
- Environmental groundwater / gas monitoring and sampling
- Timely submission of site information, such as: drilling records, weekly timesheets etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in a related subject (Geotechnical Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology and Environmental Science or related discipline)
- Previous experience in contract management of ground investigation projects
- Full driving licence (travel is required)
Salary: c£45,000 depending on experience and generous benefits:
- ~33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
