Igne are seeking a UXO/EOD Engineer to join the team based in Gillingham, Kent. The Engineer will conduct unexploded ordnance magnetometry surveys for a variety of projects, including construction, infrastructure, and land development. This is a full-time role, with travel across the UK as required. Ideally, you will be based in the South of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will support the safe and effective delivery of UXO risk mitigation works on a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Application of UXO mitigation and support works.
  • Application of UXO risk reduction techniques (where qualified).
  • Preparation of RAMS, task briefings and site documentation.
  • Liaison with clients, contractors and project teams.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Person Specification:
  • Recognised EOD / Search qualification (military or civilian equivalent).
  • Experience on UK UXO projects.
  • Strong understanding of HSE guidance and industry best practice.
  • CSCS card (or ability to obtain one).
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Strong communication and safety-first mindset.
