Igne is looking to appoint a Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer to join our successful Geoenvironmental Division based in Walsall. This is a full-time position and will involve travel across the UK to undertake site work. Applications from recent graduates will also be considered.
This varied role involves undertaking environmental due diligence reviews, various aspects of ground engineering including preliminary risk assessments, ground investigations, geotechnical assessments, ground contamination appraisals, remedial options appraisals, remediation strategies and associated validation works.

Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related subject (Geotechnical Engineering, Geology/Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related discipline)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and reporting abilities
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full driving license (travel is required)
- Knowledge and practical experience of ground investigation and laboratory testing techniques, including logging of soil and rock core samples to relevant British Standards and Eurocodes
- 33 days’ holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
