Are you looking to kick start your commercial career in a fast-growing industry? Igne are seeking a Sales Executive to join the team. We are looking for someone to drive new business, build client relationships and support our busy laboratory and field-testing teams. A full UK driving licence and willingness to work away from home are essential. The role will be based at our Daventry laboratory with options for hybrid working.
As a Sales Executive you will help drive growth across Igne's Midlands and Southern region by supporting new business activity, building client relationships and promoting our laboratory and field-testing services. Key Responsibilities:- The Sales Executive will support the identification of new clients across the Midlands and surrounding counties.
- Help build strong relationships with contractors, engineers and consultants.
- Attend client meetings and site visits with senior colleagues to gain hands-on experience.
- Represent Igne at industry shows, networking events and client open days.
- Build a basic understanding of competitor offerings and pricing trends.
- Maintain our CRM system and support National Sales Manager with commercial initiatives nationally.
- A confident self-starter who has the drive to facilitate new business and support the organisation's growth targets.
- Comfortable with outbound sales including calls and messages.
- Awareness of or exposure to the main contractor, earthworks and tier 2 market in some capacity is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
- Someone with the confidence to have discussions with people of all levels, a strong communicator who is comfortable presenting or willing to be trained to be.
- Organised and reliable with the ability to prioritise and see tasks through to completion.
- Applications will be considered from entry level sales staff in similar industries.
- Must have a full UK driving licence / willing to work away on occasion.
- Up to £32,000 per annum with Car Allowance
